I feel lucky how I whined about having too much free time last post. Now it is the other way around. I started working as a builder/manager of a sim/world in Second Life, which actually required more time than I could ever imagine, and school-work is piling up as well. I suddenly have tons of ideas and dreams I wish I had time to execute!
Anyway, I love the thought of working in a virtual environment full-time, since it's a never-ending project without limits, and I also think it will be even greater and more common in the future. I signed up as a content provider for another virtual world this weekend, Blue Mars, which uses cryengine-2. It is still in early stages though. Hopefully I will learn a lot as soon as I have time to explore it further.
Second Life is probably stagnating from now on, but it is still active and alive for the time being. I'll post some pictures of the city I built soon. Until then you can check out some bad pictures at the site of the sim here: [link]
It is a cyberpunk city where second life players can rent apartments or go shopping. I built it without having any special plan in mind, but as more people found it, the interest got bigger and they plan on writing a story about it etc. I don't consider myself a "player", and I am really bad at role-playing, but it has been very interesting and amazing to see how much dedication people can put into these worlds. I love creative people and environments.

I'm here to tell you I will no longer use this ~juanIncubus account. Now that I've finished my career I realized it's not what I want/need. So I created a new one, a little bit more focused, more polished.
Here it is!

Hope to see you around, my friend.
